This is such a large departure from the tone of these forums just a few weeks back

I could have talked to him or the other members, but I suspect the discussion would not be very productive.

I would have probably been told to get over it and that it's not affecting anybody and that everyone else does it too so it's ok

I would have been told he stopped using it, not that I care, once a cheater, forever a cheater. And I suspect I would see him using it again in a few weeks anyways.

This is a lot of assuming, suspecting and feeling. And no actual trying.
If you have this little faith in the people you recruited and are this unwilling to communicate, you're not fit to be their static leader.
