Need advice: static imploding because of cheater.

If the dude had no intention to publicize his cheating via streaming or any other social setting, you pretty much kicked a guy who was minding his own business and trying not to hold the static back. I would be pissed at you too for not only completely jumping the gun but not even discussing it with the other members of the static. ToS or not (which is basically loose guidelines at this point since Square doesn't do anything unless it goes viral), you should have considered the opinions of the other members before doing it, at least.

Honestly, I don't get the whole holding someone back argument. If I do I fight I want to do it without cheating. Obviously, you need to find like-minded people. But it's weird to assume that everyone wants to cheat all the time, too. You're also 'holding someone back' if their account gets banned because of you. There is (at least) two sides to everything.

There is literally no such thing, an entire static wont get banned of one person's actions. Even the ones who ""cheated"" their way to world first just had to remove the totems and other rewards.

It was a kneejerk reaction that affected 6 other people. You could and should have talked about with the person itself as well as the other 6 that would get affected by whatever decision you made.
You could've also told the member that you ended up kicking that you'll have no things like zoomhacks in this static and give them a chance to simply stop using it and it would've been fine.
Decisions like these need to be discussed with everyone.

You do realize that no one outside of the one person that used the cheat got banned in the recent static debacle right? They don't ban everyone. Multiple members of that static chose to leave FF because they were shamed publically by Yoshi.

There's literally no risk for the other members unless someone decides to be a complete moron and stream them using the plugins which might result in the other members losing an item or a title. Even then, if you're not a big streamer you'll fly under the radar anyway.
