Yet YoshiP has said that all encounters can be beaten without any third party programs, the game and all raids etc are exhaustively tested. I think i know which to listen to.

Either way, my stance remains. I will stand or fall on my own merits, no triggers, no parsers, no callouts..I will improve as times goes on, you can improve without addons, by practice, listening, learning...whether or not you approve makes me no never mind.

FF 14 isnt.

The game and all its encounters can be defeated in a Vanilla UI. In that sense, FF 14 is a very good example of "bring the player, not the class".
