And that players organize their own events just for fun. Like I went to Gridania and saw a concert being hosted, and the music was great, that seemed to attract a lot of sprouts who seemed to be having a good time. They all even clapped after each session was over. I don't really see stuff like that in other MMOS, especially not at the extent in FF14.

Meanwhile, Limsa seems to have has something going on a regular basis.

It is a normal thing in MMOs if developers provide the right infrastructure.

The problem is when they are only interested in something like raids or micro transactions and ignore everything else so that you can't even do these sort of things.
