So, OP is asking to be able to get under the hood of the mentor system to pull a list that will be very lengthy and in need of filtering so they could properly pick and choose. I'd say that has a snowball's chance in hell.![]()

The entire idea is to get help to people who are choosing duties nobody wants to fill and providing an increasing reward until the queue fills. Duties that take less than 10 minutes to fill wouldn’t even appear on this list. Easy duties wouldn’t pay a lot because they are easy and would fill quickly so the reward wouldn’t increase. So if anything the incentive is to help with the hard duties because they would sit for longer accruing rewards since less and less people would like to participate in those. It would also discourage toxicity because people would essentially know what they are signing up for, rather than mentors randomly farming the mentor roulette fishing for easy duties.
It's too much work on the development side to be worthwhile. It also goes against their design philosophy. People can make the choice to stop being toxic and just accept the fate RNGesus hands them on mentor roulette. You don't have to rename it from a bounty hunter system because it's clear that you only care about the loot and not actually helping others. If you really want to help others, there are other avenues like PF and discord. The entire idea is to get help to people who are choosing duties nobody wants to fill and providing an increasing reward until the queue fills. Hmmm I dont think so. There’s relatively few assets to deal with in creating a menu and the functionality is largely similar to the PF. Perhaps adding a quest in the overworld to become one May be a lot of work but it could become a menu setting. It's too much work on the development side to be worthwhile. As far as people accepting their own fate and joining discords and such I agree! I don’t think most will but I do think the intrinsic meaning behind the mentor roulette has been lost. That’s why this is a more honest system, since it’s a bounty system meant to appeal to your monetary greed. Not hiding it behind an altruistic mentor ideal.
Either way, you're still looking to get behind the scenes on the queue to see what's actually available and you keep dodging that point. There's nothing honest about that. Nothing better will come out of it. Despite its flaws, the mentor system is the most fair and there's no value in exploring anything else.Hmmm I dont think so. Dodging what point? It's no mystery the menu will display the queues that have been sitting the longest since the bounty reward system is based on increasing rewards depending on the amount of time it's been sitting. Unless revealing information and appealing to the player's craving for rewards isn't honesty I'm not exactly sure what to tell you.Either way, you're still looking to get behind the scenes on the queue to see what's actually available and you keep dodging that point. How would you define honesty?
Same here. I'm actually disappointed it's not.
Still, I like their idea. The only change I'd make is to call them Sellswords rather than Bounty Hunters.
I'm not so sure. I'm kinda leaning toward the idea that it's more difficult to describe the concept than to implement it.
