The fact we don't get an exploratory zone this expansion for the sake of Criterion (laughs) and more Allagan/Crystal Tower nonsense is certainly in line with the rest of what Endwalker has been. One bad surprise after another.

Nah. Naming the Stormblood Eureka 'Eureka' was a mistake, because in previous FF game Eureka was.... a dungeon underneath crystal tower. Aka what this new Eureka will be. I saw people all over the place pre-EW complain about wishing for a 'real eureka like in [whatever ff game it came from] and not the fake stormblood one'. So yeah, this is the real thing. No clue why they named exploration island Eureka too. But Eureka Orthos is not a bait, but what Eureka was always expected to be in the first place. If you were baited, then you just read the name and nothing else about it because they always made it clear that EO will be a deep dungeon.

Dude, I practically lived in Bozja for most of Shadowbringers and when this game decided it wasn't going to release content I went right back to FFXI. Better that content than...literally anything that's been released in Endwalker so far. An expansion for Animal Crossing fans instead of MMORPG players.

Do not assume that players who are upset with the current state of FFXIV despise everything about it or how things were before this expansion came around and took a wrecking ball to most aspects of the game.

I kind of wish some of the good bits from Bozja, like the open world activities, could make it into the regular game.

Fates that have actual mechanics like Bozja and Zadnor had and overworld enemies actually having some sort of threat to them would certainly contribute to making the overworld feel like less of gpose background prop and more of an actual space to do things in.
