Certain Quests Not Spawning?

Hello, I am relatively new to this game, and I'm having some trouble. These quests:

For All the Nights to Come
Baby Steps
Protecting Whats Important
Purple Flame, Purple Flame

aren't anywhere to be found. I have scoured the map endlessly before learning about the coordinates, to find that they simply have not spawned in. Can somebody help me with the requirements needed in order to get these quests to spawn in?

"Purple Flame" is MSQ and the others are sidequests that will unlock around that point, possibly partway through an MSQ quest.

Where are you up to? Have you finished the quest "Camp of the Convictors"?

If you've lost where you're up to, the "current MSQ quest" box in the upper left corner of the screen should give you a map of your next objective when you click on it.

Just at first glance, those are all aether current rewarding quests.

I'm going to guess they won't show up until it's possible to fly there? Flight isn't "everywhere all at once" in Heavensward, it unlocks one zone at a time.

Remember, there wasn't flying in ARR, so flying in HW was a HUGE reveal, they hid it in every possible way until they sprang it on you as something you could now do.

I just completed mentioned quest and got the For All the Nights to Come quest to pop! Thank you I'll keep playing until the others spawn )

If you want to understand the requirements for a quest, you can look it up on the lodestone (along with many other things such as items and dungeon rewards).

Sometimes there is extra information on GamerEscape which it doesn't show if you search google for the quest name.

Yeah, this is something youll see in each expansion zone as you go forward. Completing certain quests(usually specific MSQ steps) will open up more side quests in the area. These can include aether current quests required to fly, optional dungeons and other bits of new content, and just side quests to give more flavor and lore to the region.
