Sometimes, some pants look really nice, like DRK lvl 89 job set. But you indeed never really notice unless you go out of your way to check it out individually without the chest partOne of the things I wish we had, at least, were more skirts separated from the tops. I feel it would make them a bit more versatile.
The ShB Black Mage artifact set on male characters... I love the top, hate the skirt. And the actual leg item that we get to go under those is usually an afterthought, wouldn't be really missed.

I really like that silhouette personally, but more variety is always cool.
Mortal Fist
At least reprint the Lunar Envoy legs for Fending and Striking, as well as the Althyk Striking and Scouting legs, and reprint them for Mages.
While I am also kind of over this silhouette myself I'd at least like the above 4 leg slot gear to be made accessible to Mages/all other Jobs by having them be repurposed in gear sets down the line.
Like at least spread the really good ones around so every role has a chance at them.

Main thing I'd like is for Casters/Healers, Striking/Maiming, Aiming/Scouting to get different looking sets that are not just recolors of each other.

but i like to feel the breeze between my knees as a slaughter my foes
for a year, would you rather be secretly filmed at random moments and have the footage uploaded to your social media or loose $100 when ever you said a curse word?

I feel the designers are somehow afraid of changing? It is weird, that's for sure.I did notice that. Whenever I’m looking for a separare breastplate, it’s usually an older ARR armors that’s available. I truly wondered who or what made SE dug deep into this Tent shape battle skirt style. I have never really seen this shape before in any other games at all. I think their designers just need more inspiration. I don’t think it’s a resource issue either - just remove the bottom part of the tent, and let the top breastplate separate, then that will let players mix and match even better.

I think the thing is, you can't get exactly the same effect from a legwear skirt versus one attached to the top. Legwear has to be shaped so it will never clip through a top, so the skirts are narrower and can look a bit unnatural when at rest.
Personally I am generally happy with skirts attached the top, because then I can wear pants underneath it. When they just make skirts separate, they tend to have bare legs underneath and you can't do anything to change it.
I do see that they use the style a lot, though. And I agree with the person who said we should get the Lunar Envoy skirt-pants for more roles.
With the way the system is role-restricted, there's no benefit from having more different outfits. Either way you get one more outfit for your job, and insisting on unique ones for every job would double their workload. I'd rather get three shared gearsets and three glamour outfits than seven unique gearsets.

But it's variety you can't use, because other classes can't equip it.
And as I said, if they make more glamour sets instead – especially if they put it into more fantasy gear and not the modern outfits they're doing all too often for my liking – then you still are getting variety and you can make use of it on more classes at a time.

Your argument has nothing to do with mine and they aren't mutually exclusive. I have no idea why someone wouldn't want more sets per patch. But it's variety you can't use, because other classes can't equip it.
