With that being said, why not add talents to slightly change up how some jobs can play and give players some choice so they are not restricted to one rotation for years on end. I honestly am miffed how people play this game for longer than a couple of weeks. I get there are things to do, but the combat gets stale fast to me, and different PvE encounters hardly changes the samey combat for years.

Just my two cents btw. If you love the game, continue loving it.
Nah I agree. I think it's actually Endwalker that has brought us to this place where we are now-- we see this also in streamers imo. There's some FFXIV exhaustion happening as this 10 year story has concluded, leaving us highly focused on the rest of the game. There are so many other MMO or MMO types of games that are amping up combat that is fast paced, challenging, and full of choices as well. Then you have XIV which is seemingly going in the opposite direction catering to about 10% of people who are very loud and only concerned with protecting metas that benefit them and don't necessarily make any sense outside of that, leaving many jobs steamrolled (as I like to call it) and casual content as stale as can be.
