    What repetition, exactly?

Savage raids have a weekly loot restriction on release, just like the normal and alliance raids. Worse, you get only one chance per week to roll, so if you win nothing, then you win nothing for the week. Still worse, if you decide to go back into the fight for whatever reason when you've already cleared, you cause there to be less loot for everyone else to roll on. The whole system really doesn't want you clearing each fight more than once each week.

I also seem to recall that Ultimates also only award one token per week on release, but don't quote me on that.

The real repetition is pulling the boss, wiping, deciding what to do better/differently next time, and giving it another go. And honestly, that's the same philosophy I'd suggest everyone approach normal and casual content with: I don't care whether the party wipes in an MSQ dungeon. Let's just try not to wipe the same way twice.
