Imagine buying a current-year model Mercedes and your car manual starts with the instructions on engine maintenance and cranking to start the T-Ford, and goes through every model and make of consumer car ever built before it starts in the last few pages to provide information that is actually relevant to the present and the thing you actually have?
They don't get it or care to. They're just looking to argue and complain. I'd just let them, to be honest.
