Lecture whom? I believe when people say "I wish MSQ was harder", the goal is to increase their own enjoyment of the game, not to lecture others. Many people in this thread have made posts in that direction.

IMO this is very much the topic because this could be the true solution to many problems listed in this thread.
Basically I think casual players should have their easy MSQ, some people just aren't interested in difficult content, or just aren't interested in the gameplay aspect of FFXIV and with the MSQ gating everything including content such as Island Sanctuary or DoH/DoL activities, it shouldn't be a wall for them.
But sometimes I wish I could relax and use my max level jobs on content less boring than most of what roulette content offers. Expert Dungeons like Smileton were already so ridiculously easy on release day I'm not even sure anyone ever wiped to it. I think Bozja with its slightly increased difficulty was a good compromise.
