Easy fix: Limit combat resurrections. Give them a considerable cooldown so you can't just zombie your way through fights. There now people are actually punished for dying even if the content doesn't have an enrage.

And too the rest of the party are now punished by having to pick up the slack being down a member. Would only serve to make the party detest that downed player which due to the absurd restrictions in the ToS; not allowed.
I agree it should be increased. Right now normal mode feels way too easy (especially when sync'ed down). A lot of the 24 mans are a snore fest unless you get the Nier raid/current, but again, this is most likely a sync thing. All the trials are also a snore fest when synced down. It's like theres no harm in them
They could easily toggle on an item level sync for content(why the heck is the Crystal Tower saga item level sync basically double the item level minimal? It's wild!).
If you have a full party, you can already choose min ilvl when queueing. You can make a pf to get a full 24 people if you want to do min ilvl alliance runs.I agree it should be increased. Some normal modes are annoying e5n for example.
It's not necessarily a "fights are too easy" issue, but a "outgearing mechanics" issue for a lot of fights.
Make alliance raids forced at patch relevant ilvl would resolve some of those issues.
Unfortuntely, once you learn how to doany of the content, it becomes a snooze fest. It doesn't matter how hard it was to learn, or how long it takes to kill, or how many mechanics it does. As soon as you understand the fight and can do it confidentally, it becomes boring. That's just a fact. There's nothing Square can do to make the content fun or hard when you can already beat it. If they lower min ilvl to conent, chances are you're just going to be bored for longer. There's a reason a lot of people don't enjoy doing max level alliance raids. They're just as boring as any other fight you know how to do, but they take so much longer.
Exactly anything you gonna do so many times like dungeon/Alliance is going to get boring at some point.Unfortuntely, once you learn how to doany of the content, it becomes a snooze fest. You either have a braindead farm or a engaging/challenging content to do here and there.
Wildstar tried to appeal to the "hardcore" now it has shutdown.

I feel like e5n and e7n were honestly a good set for difficulty to be fair.
Never said I wanted to do min ilvl, I said the item level scaling is a tad too high. If its i50 to enter, why does it go all the way up to like i100+? If it's i50 to get it, it should cap at the item level *that drops in the raid* as being the highest it'll sync down to.
Such as ilvl 80 for LOTA and so on, would be what it syncs people down to who are over that.
Idk why we need healer in casual type content, you will be totally fine without them nowadays. It wasn't like that in the past. They could at least make mobs hit harder? Like 100% harder? And maybe allow cc effects to be useful in dungeons, so it is actually a more interesting encounter than just 'mitigation and dmg output' happening.
