Like I said, there are times when you want one megathread, and there are times when you shouldn't just pad the old with the new.
True, I just mean that I think the stuff that’s going on now is at least tenuously linked enough to the original threads’ point that I’d say it gets a ‘pass’ lol.

Players as ahead of the curve as you or me are still going to find it easy, but if it were raised to a level where it's a challenge for us to clear, there'd be SO many people unable to progress story mode.
Didn’t they say something like this before too? I think it was something along the lines of ‘we aren’t intentionally lowering difficulty it’s just that players have become so accustomed to encounters that it’s extremely difficult to challenge them but still keep it fair for less experienced players’. Which I do think is a fair point. How are they meant to simultaneously satisfy both long-term ‘veteran’ players and ones who have only just begun (relatively lol)? There’s no easy answer sadly; not that I know of anyway.

I also wonder if they expect that most players who become veterans will naturally move down the ‘raider’ path so there’s a constant / consistent increase in difficulty. And I don’t mean that as like a criticism; it’s a fairly logical expectation lol. Hence why things like expert roulette remain (mostly) static in difficulty
