Even though i'm not a big fan of petition threads on the forums, could we atleast get a vote or poll option on the forums during thread creation with voting options?

If we as a forum community are going to request eachother's voting input, a templated for multiple voting options and a true tally would be would be more helpfull then Like/dislike posts, which only give us at most a yes/no vote on a person's idea.
