impossibly long(if ever loads) load times

Anyone else getting this? i try to log in and it just sits there trying to load. Sometimes it never loads at all and i have to shut down the program manually. I either get a black load screen or the loading screen does come up but the little mog guy just sits there with his letters like forever and nothing ever shifts.

Hm, I haven't had this. BTW you can post in the Technical Support forums and an official person might get back to you. Also just in case, try getting rid of any AddOns and attempt that way.

Assuming you don't use any third party tools (if you do, turn them all off) then you might want to perform a file check. In the launcher settings, there should be an option for file integrity check. If any files are found to be bad (which can cause this problem) they will be re-downloaded.

I sometimes have this. Normally it is only one or two leading screen within 10 to 15 minutes. It seems to happen when your connection to the server is not too stable.

When this happens I normally also will have then the issue that during that time the game will not render most players in PvP or Alliance raids.

Try tracing your connection to the FF 14 servers and if they take some wild and long route.

I would download the game again might be bugged or have corrupt files. Happened to me last year from a patch. I had to redownload the whole game from corrupt file from a patch.
