Remove FC housing entirely

Omnicrafter lost it's status when SE nerfed crafting. There was a time when you had to have all jobs at certain levels to be able to use certain skills. Thanks to SE dumbing crafting down, anyone can be an omnicrafter. Don't throw the term around like you're special.

FC housing literally gives vastly more players a home to live in than personal housing lol!

And? There are lots of empty plots for multiple bidding periods. They aren't bidding on the houses. Once again I do not see how this is complicated. What I see is excuse making because FCs want to be catered to more than they already are. You get FC benefits already-- why does one have to be reserving housing that you don't even use?

Give me some time, so I can buy up all the FC plots, it's like a 1 month turn around as is already....

Joking aside, that's a good sign because anyone that starts up an FC and wants a house can get one immediately... Great for new players!

What benefits are these, pray tell?

The grade ll buffs that are just the same as the ones individual players can get from their squad?
The grade l buffs nobody uses?
Or maybe the grade lll buffs that can be made one at a time and take three full days to charge? That's one day of slightly better buffs on one day a week.

The subs? I believe they are giving subs to individuals in the near future.

Which leaves us with the ability to make housing skins and you're not locked out from getting those, you just have to use the MB or ask friends who are in a FC with a house to help.

FCs get very, very little in this game. The longest lasting ones that I've seen are raiding FCs. Most others tend to fizzle out due to there being no real advantage to being in one and no FC content for members to cooperate with (FC crafting looked promising but was basically single person with 3 spectators, now simply single player but you still have to be in a FC with a house).

It was off-handedly mentioned during one of the patch readings this expansion (6.1 I think) http://blog.livedoor.jp/umadori0726/.../59652577.html

But it was far from any sort of hard confirmation, just Yoshi-P saying 'we may explore the idea' more or less. His wording also sorta implied that even if it did make its way over, it likely wouldn't be a 1:1 copy of their FC implementation. My guess would be likely extremely simplified version in terms of zones/loot, 1 sub only, etc.
