Seriiously OP, we HAVE an AH system! The only major defect right now is that it's still technically split into three.

If one area is full, just send it to another. Problem solved. I've not once gotten this error, personally.

    A typical AH has:

    searching
    an index of categories
    Buying from the search list
    price history
    Buyout style purchasing
timed auction style purchasing (Which I never use in games that have it (FFXI does not have this, either). Who the hell wants to wait to buy something only to maybe not get it?)

    THe current system has:

    Searching
    An index of categories
Buying from the search list directly, with the option of going to find the retainer to save a few gil on taxes
    Price history
    Buyout style purchasing

Honestly, the current system even has something the FFXIAH doesn't in its search function. In FFXI you had to sort through a list of categories. In FFXIV, you can just type an item name in.

The only issue I have with the current system is the history doesn't seperate +1 and materia'd items from the normal ones, which can be a little confusing

Why do people keep begging for an auction house when we essentially have one already? I realize we can still streamline the current system a bit more, but it works.

Then you need to play a really, really bothersome guessing game of what the price is or pay more than the item is truly worth it.
Yes. The price you list should be the price people pay. It shouldn't be possible to game the price history to try to get people to pay more than your actual price. This is what I liked least about FFXI's system.
