Is it possible to get a FAIRY or FOX race?

Me too, would that be possible? Their bodies are very different from all the other races I don’t know how that would work for armour

I think Yoshi-P said he isn't opposed to it, but his team would have to build actual 'skeletons' the way they did Viera or something (for emotes, animations & armors)-
I'm horribly paraphrasing on what he said but he didn't reject the idea altogether either.

They could use Lalafells just give them a slightly different run animation would be my guess & the way armor fits them would match the Loporrit

And Although we have these creatures in game, they're nowhere near anything playable- similar to the Qiqirn.
They have their own animations, but nothing built for playing ourselves.

I'd be 100% down for playing them though

you are more likely to get tonberrys over lopporits,
viera and hroth already have a hat and hair shortage imagine Lopporits.

Funnily enough, something like such having an excuse for not doing hairs/hats, might actually make the race more likely to be added in the future if there ever was a chance ('limited races'!), if I had to guess. I don't know if they'd actually want to tread such ground again though.

The problem with new skeletons is designing all the gear to work on them is taxing. Look at all the problems they had with Hrothgar and Viera hats.

As I'd mentioned before. From a story telling prospective they are entirely viable as bits of lore indicate individuals that had left the moon and arrived on ethirys in the past and also the side quest showing another in the process of doing so as well. Your character is already a sort of amnesiac at the start of ARR anyway so a loporrit not remembering anything about their past, origins, or duty wouldn't be out of the question. Additionally you have to remember that ALL OTHER PLAYER CHARACTERS DO NOT EXIST in regards to NPC interactions. It doesn't matter if you see 50,000 people running around as a Loporrit. The NPC's would view you as the only one in the world until you get far enough into Endwalker to find them on the moon.

You are right, I can see how that would be tough for the fox race. They have incorporated a fairy so I just want to see what they come up with since now the game developers are going to have free creative range pertaining to what to add into the game now, which is exciting!

I'd love to see something that's more like Tuatha De Danaan... that'd be neat. (I know that the new Camelot game will have them but its a pvp game)

Unfortunately they said that female Hrothgars are gonna be the last new updated race they will implement in this game. I would not request anymore because they still need to work on updating Viera and Hrothgar limitations. Though its fun to dream of new races. I for one would like to be a bird. -shrugs- I know it won't happen.
