The "typical hero" in Aveyond's post is more than just gender and looks, it's an entire pattern of story-telling that the devs killed off, presumably due to a plan made long ago to replace FFXIV with a sequel that'll never come. Maybe we should think more about what this means instead of just insulting the original poster?

Huh, is that really what you took away from his first post ? Because what he is saying is way more superficial than this.
Unless i lost some meaning in the translation, he's only talking about character physical appearance. Not some thing about hero cycle, that's some generous interpretation of what he wrote.
