Offensive statement? It is a conjectural statement which you perceive as ageist. So yeah, those people who complain about jokes in-game have a point, right?Hm, you want to police speech and comedy and yet you make an ageist comment towards me and someone else. See how easy it is to slip into offensive statements? All it takes is saying something that you maybe find completely innocent that someone else finds offensive. So maybe we should stop trying to police what everyone else is saying and instead learn to be a strong person and move on.

You've only just become aware of the point I was making without actually understanding it, it seems. By the way, that joke you said to Kolaina wasn't funny. Jokes by definition are supposed to make people laugh, not just be a boring statement with no nuance or satire. I would have thought someone who has supposedly been telling jokes for decades would be better at it.
My children laughed [edit: 20 years ago]. Which is all that matters in the end. The fact you find it "not funny" speaks to your own preferences for jokes. Preferences that may, or may not, be shared by the strangers you tell them to in-game, for which a complaint may be raised. I prefer not to tell those sorts of jokes on the forum, nor in-game. That is another point I'm making here. And you graciously agreed with that assessment. You've only just become aware of the point I was making without actually understanding it, it seems.
