I mean, this hasn't really been my experience. I was OTing a PuG for Mount Ordeals EX, when the RDM in my split party killed us both because he doing his burst when a mech hit, and we both got nailed by each other's AoEs. I said "Once again Red Mage forgets its not a melee job" and the biggest laugh was from the RDM himself.

Ultimately, an insulting or offensive joke is well received if its more funny than it is insulting or offensive. It has to be a joke first and a dig second.

Back in Heavensward and Stormblood you can insult people and mock them and they'll just insult and mock you back. Banter, friendly or unfriendly, was the norm. What happened to this game's community man!? Now you make a mild joke and they collapse and freak out and start crying. People don't even fight back anymore! What happened to FF14?
