Playing video games with epilepsy is a IQ 500 chess move.Troll post or not, the online community has definitely changed over the past decade, that is for sure. I made a lighthearted joke the other day about seizures during Ultima Weapon (so bright, such light!) and was told it's not funny and I shouldn't make those jokes.
... I legit had to tell them that I made the joke because I take medication for seizures and I was pointing out the obvious drawback to this cutscene.
Uh, friendly banter and light-hearted jokes I can definitely get behind - It's a good way to make fun. Policing this I do think is too repressive.
But the unfriendly nature, if it's presented in an overly aggressive tone, I do think this is different.
The latter just results in a very destructive community.
This is such a generic, boring troll post lol. Try harder, man
Troll post indeed, but oddly enough our NN had this conversation recently. Yes, it does appear more people get offended far more easily. We have moved past the era where offense was taken not given. Just the nature of the beast with ever changing times. People take to forget it is a personal choice to get offended or bothered by something. Yet when you tell someone that it never ends well.
I think soy is alright. But you need to have good seasoning. Otherwise it tastes bland.
Hmm...
