Also I still think that this version I posted (the one from the alpha client rip) sounds better than the one used in game, I think it's got a higher bitrate.

I can never find the music but it played in all the towns when the Grand Companies were all being revived. Does anyone know which one I'm talking about? It was the event before the Firefall Faire.

I was super happy when they added both of the Castrum Novum tracks. I've been waiting for those to be in game since launch.

Beneath Bloodied Banners is also one of my favorites. The first time I saw the Prerelease Trailer, and this this track kicked in (at 2:34), I knew Uematsu was back. His return to Final Fantasy, more than anything, made me want to play this game.

The post-Uematsu music for XIV is all really good, too (especially Garuda and the final AF quest music), but I miss Uematsu's presence. I wish he would write some more music for us.

There's just too many tracks I love, haha, so I split them into categories. No doubt there are more categories, but nonetheless, those are my favourites.

Oh, and I need to give a LARGE special hats off to the Prelude theme (Prelude ~Remembrance~) which appears on the title screen. So far the most gorgeous rendition of Prelude I've seen in an FF game.
