Old content/new content

Hi Everyone,

I decided to reach out this way, because i started playing around almost two years now, and have been in love with the game ever since. I have leveled up every job, and have been actively trying to find a community to do old content or even new content either it being extreme, savage etc.

Coming from Wow a few years back, where the mentality would be to join a guild and every sort of content would be done with people on the inside, i quickly learned that here its pretty much done with a static group, and older content is really hard to do, just because its incredibly hard to find people for it, inside and outside of the game.

Not gonna bother you with more details, but was curious if anyone knows of some active discord groups or other sorts of channels where i can find people to do this content, as i feel like there's this thirst of content that i still want to satisfy and enjoy with people while doing so.

im trying to find people to do newer and older content with too, trying to build my fc with dismal results. im on the primal data center, and would love to play with you.

I definitely understand how you feel, i'm also trying to build my fc as even adquired a medium house but we're still a super small guild. I'm currently in the Light datacenter. I'm not sure though, is it possible to play with people from other datacenters?

IIRC twintania is an EU server so you might wanna check out the ERC discord. Balance discord is probably also a good starting point, either to ask for directions or for guides to all sorts of stuff. If you're looking for old stuff keep an eye open for PFs that advertise old ex and savage content with the MINE description. That stands for min ilvl no echo and they want to have fun with older fights with a powerlevel as close as possible to the original encounter. I know one group that usually tries to get groups going on saturdays.

Thank you for the tips on this, i knew of Balance and have tried the PFs before, as messy as it can be sometimes but i guess i should try again on that regard, but had no idea of the ERC discord. Thank you!

I wanna say on one of their bars on the lodestone is a Community tab where people can make/find Linkshell/Cross World Linkshells for doing exactly that. Also there are discord floating around all over the place...you just have to seek them out. Do be careful on those Discords though cause people can be weird...in a bad way. Not a fun way.

It might depend on your server, maybe things are different here... But 9/10 times if I put up a Party Finder for whatever old content duty I'm looking for, it'll fill up within 10-15 minutes. There's usually a lot of other folks looking to do the same stuff, it's just that someone has to take the initiative and put the PF up. A lot of times you'll find vets that join in just to help out if they're bored and looking for something to do too. Might be worth trying if your server is active enough.
