pick a stream. Every Duty Commenced, they mention it at the end.
It's not their fault if the other sections offer little in the way of actual feedback. Y'all spend way too much time about whining about feedback that doesn't get through or giving feedback they've already responded to. I've seen one good thread in the past few months about endgame gear.

There are two, maybe three threads there worth a look. You can't tell me the devs actually need to look at and respond to all that BS or even have community reps pass that along to begin with.gear unlocks

Has all this actually been using ChatGPT? LOLThe possibility of an AI chatbot maintaining a forum rather than real human interaction raises some important questions about the purpose and potential impact of these types of forums. If a forum is purely maintained by AI, it might not provide meaningful engagement or a way to voice feedback to the developers. In turn, this could negatively affect the user experience and the sense of community on the forums.
One potential solution to this issue would be for Square Enix to actively engage with the North American forums and provide real human interaction. This could involve regular moderation and management by employees, responding to user feedback and questions, and fostering a sense of community among users. By doing so, Square Enix could improve the user experience and help to build a stronger sense of community on the forums.
Another solution could be for Square Enix to create alternative channels for user engagement and feedback, such as surveys, polls, or direct communication through social media or email. This could help to ensure that users are still able to voice their opinions and provide feedback to the developers, even if the forums are not being actively moderated.
Ultimately, it is important for developers to understand the importance of fostering a sense of community among their users and to provide meaningful engagement and feedback mechanisms. Whether through human interaction or alternative channels, Square Enix has the opportunity to improve the user experience on the North American forums and build a stronger sense of community among its users.

More than just this thread?![]()
Who gives a shit what the frontpage looks like? The duty of a community manager is to look and filter threads that are worth forwarding feedback for. In any social medium, Twitter, Reddit, Forums, there are always threads or comments that don't matter yet it's their job to look at. It's the definition of the responsibilities of a community manager.pick a stream. Every Duty Commenced, they mention it at the end.

Right. I'm telling you they do that and there's almost nothing to pass along.Who gives a shit what the frontpage looks like? Typically, as with other game forums, the community managers would give official posts on the higher quality threads, showing that they've been noticed and recorded as feedback. That would at least encourage people to make higher quality threads.pick a stream. Every Duty Commenced, they mention it at the end.

As it is now, people feel like they have to yell louder and louder to get the attention of devs who don't acknowledge they're even listening and it eventually gets hyperbolic to the point of shitposting.
People here mostly want to yell at each other and about SE and can't handle contrary opinions. Any good ideas get drowned out by inane nonsense like these threads.Typically, as with other game forums, the community managers would give official posts on the higher quality threads, showing that they've been noticed and recorded as feedback. When you deal with human beings, never count on logic or consistency.
