Have you actually sat down and read the T&C's or most commonly know as TOS, and I mean actually reading them and not just glancing or skimming them?Yeah, I think a lot of people have this naive idea that every problem can be solve by the wave of a magic wand. And thing will always pan out exactly as planed. All I can say is ... real life is not a shonen manga.
It's the same thing about people keep advocating for stripping people with multiple-house. Say even if Yoshi actually want to do that, I can imagine someone from either the financial or legal department (probably both) would be stopping him so freaking fast.
They can do whatever the hell they want, we have no rights here.
We have the privilege of them storing some data on their servers we can access and we pay for that.
At any point in time they can terminate the agreement from their end without warning or excuses.
The only excuse for the financial of legal department to get involved would be the shareholders making a fuss or even a lawsuit for loss of profits.
Us the players have no rights whatsoever.

And my friend, this attitude is exactly what I called naive like a shonen manga.
OH so you DO get it. What do you think I was referring to? The TOS?The only excuse for the financial of legal department to get involved would be the shareholders making a fuss or even a lawsuit for loss of profits.
Us the players have no rights whatsoever.
We are back to the 80/90's not only we need software to cheat but we also need hardware to inject the code, ala game genie/ gameshark... Uau that takes me back in time a few decades.I already mentioned in the first page that this is in the "why bother" territory right now. But if that was to change, because for example, someone came up with a console only world race with the idea that it means no 3rd party programs, that idea is simply naive, because you could still parse and use triggers.
You also don't need a particularly powerful PC to do this. Some cheap laptop that can't even run the game could do the trick just fine. So no, it doesn't really completely defeat the purpose.
PS5 doesn't have an accessible browser, try again
