Where are the NA Community Devs? :(

There are the developers (all the way in Japan, mostly speaking just Japanese) and then there are Community teams, GMs and translators for each region located in different countries. They are still there and handle social media, blogs, twitch streams, the lodestone, live letters, promotional campaigns, gather feedback and things like that. They do post here if it's useful such as Live Letter summaries or lodestone posts. It seems to mostly be localization or GMs that interact in any other way. Do I need to say why? It's because the majority of the community isn't here. They are on twitter and in the game, so why wouldn't they focus their efforts there?

And they do. There are regular stream events, competitions and campaigns and they are announced in the game and on twitter when they are starting. Reality just hit them that the forums should be their lowest priority given how small a percentage of the community use them.

Here is a short answer to the question.

They are not here to hear or react upon pointless claims and make this or make that or whatever... and that is what the fora direction currently is, only complaints, no actual questions... and SE should start taking a strong line on alot of things especially third party exploitable features.

This. Its all sliding that way and people just don't want to realize it. I've been on sinking MMO's before and this attitude of "It can't happen to us!" occurs every time. I don't say this out of any sort of malice, I LOVE XIV and I want it to do well but the quality is slipping more and more. We aren't at, say, Warlords of Draenor levels of slipping yet but we're sitting around Catacylsm levels. Having MMO's devolve to the point I no longer enjoy them is not a good feeling and I'd much, MUCH rather something as close to my heart as XIV just get better instead of having people be in denial about its condition right up until its downfall.
