Yeah, that would have been nice (for what it's worth, since the only things I don't have at 80+ are the EW new jobs, PLD, and BLU, anyways).
Come to think of it, too, I had Road to 60 when I first created this character, early in Stormblood, and then the rule was that you had it till 90 days after the world in question stopped having Preferred/New status. Apparently the next time they offered it, it'd been changed to a fixed 90 days regardless. I'm not really sure why it was nerfed, to be honest.
If you transfer a character to a new server, the buff lasts 90 days. It's only when you make a brand new character on a new server does it stay until said server loses it's "new" status. Admittedly, I think it's a silly distinction since all it really accomplishes is discouraging people from transferring but c'est la vie.Yeah, that would have been nice (for what it's worth, since the only things I don't have at 80+ are the EW new jobs, PLD, and BLU, anyways).

No thanks. I remember what Aether was like back before Crystal was created. I'm glad they take measures to prevent megadatacenters that constantly crash and have issues.
I can't speak on endgame, but up to post-HW, queues do take more time than Aether because it's a smaller pool but it's the difference between instant or 5 minute queue and 15 or 20 minutes for most roulettes. Alliance can still take a bit but it's gone down. I had to DC jump last night for Thordan but that's because it was 3 in the morning when I got to it. I've been able to do other group required content up to this point with little trouble. It's actually been a little nice for my alt that I can queue up and then go get some things done before queue pops whereas on Aether I don't have time to breathe before the queue pops. When I'm working through MSQ again, that's definitely a positive for me.
I said it in the other thread but Marilith right now feels like where Jenova was when I first started in 2014. We were very small. And now we're regularly a Congested server. Marilith and the others will grow.
