Merge Dynamis Into Other DC's

I've been playing 14 for about 10 years, since ARR release. This game is part of my life and I dont plan on quitting...but the current state of Dynamis is becoming really defeating. And the current FC's who've been trying to establish since day 1 are dwindling.

I started the game on Exodus, and Transferred to Gilgamesh long before PF and world travel was a thing. As much as I love the World/DC Travel system it's made it that much harder for the new DC to survive.

FC's are fighting tooth and nail to keep their current members, and are getting no new members in the door. My FC is running events weekly, Discord, Lrg House, 24/7 buffs, Choco care, etc. We really are trying, but even now we are still loosing members, some of these being our more active members as they've lost hope in Dynamis.

At the rate that Dynamis is going housing isn't enough to keep people here. And waiting around till 7.0 will leave us with an FC of no members, and a DC of all new players. And Yes I understand I made the choice of moving to the new DC, after spending 9+ years on Aether...Thats on me.

But please Square i'm begging you...Merge the 4 current Dynamis servers (Like you did with Balmung way back when) And maybe just reopen Dynamis with a new set of 4-8 servers come xpac.

This is part of the issues. We have members leaving because cross-DC traveling is to much "work" ... As someone who runs endgame content i understand you can only get content done by DC travel, ive done it myself. BUT the fact we are losing members from this aswell, gives us even smaller of a chance as surviving as a DC.

Now were just a DC of players that comes back to make sure their house isnt demo'd or check retainer prices?

It's not ideal. Somedays the ques to DC-travel can be 15+ mins. I understand why people would get tired of doing that everyday for the past few months and just move off Dynamis.

DC Travel is not the answer. As much as you or anyone else wants it to be. Its only hurting Dynamis.

Or we can be given a fair shot to grow and come back to this in a year or two. As was said in another thread, this is similar to how it felt when Crystal first formed and look at that DC now.

Crystal is NOT good for high end raiding.

Due to having two of the biggest RP servers, Its a very obvious that crystal isn't good for high-end raiding.

Part of the reason a new DC was needed was because of the way the infrastructure is set up.



Each DC has its own instance and lobby servers, which makes logging in much faster, and allows for more instances to run. The same amount of servers in fewer dca actually results in less players being able to be online and doing content at the same time.

The entire point of making a new DC was to lighten the load. Do you not remember EW launch? I'd prefer not to have to wait hours upon hours to MAYBE get to log in again, thanks.
