The Japanese wanted it so we'd get off Tonberry. That's 100% the motivation behind OCE. Unfortunately, SE listened to them that it was the "Australians" that was the issue when really the biggest English community there is SEA.

Who ping higher to Aus.

So they didn't move.

I wasnt aware SE held all the aussies at gunpoint to force them to move towards OCE servers.
