A Song stuck in my head that appears in cutscenes.

So I completed Endwalker after about a year since I started, and overtime I've been hearing a lot of the soundtrack either in game or elsewhere.

However, I'm stumbling into an issue, an Issue that I think someone can help me with.

So, There's this one song that's been stuck in my head before (And isn't a stranger to my thoughts before), Where it uses mainly a Flute, Chime, and Violin on occasions.
It has this Whimsical feel to it, and it only appears in cutscenes.

The flute has this consistent High and Low notes while occasionally a violin would be used.

Do you know what cutscenes specifically it plays in? There's a few that match with those instruments, but knowing what cutscenes (you don't need to know the name of the cutscene, just what happened) will help track it down faster.

It's with some of the scions I think, If I remember correctly, I think it was one with Tataru. I could be wrong and I'm misremembering things.

Is it The Waking Sands by Masayoshi Soken perhaps? (It's the track that plays inside there, along with the Falling Snows in Camp Dragonhead and the Rising Stones in Revenant's Toll, and a few other places). That has the instruments you mentioned and fits the theme (and yes, involves Tataru).

The other possibility, is Canticle by Nobuo Uematsu, Masayoshi Soken and Ai Yamashita from the 1.0 OST. That also often plays in cutscenes (but isn't on the ARR OST album for some reason).

Other than that, it could be anything I'm sorry.

EDIT: just thinking more on it, it wouldn't be the much maligned Supply and Demand by Nobuo Uematsu by any chance? (It was the old 1.0 Market Ward theme, hence the 'shopping centre piped music' feel of it, and it is now used in ARR in cutscenes frequently). It's very whimsical (think elevator muzac), and has an upbeat tempo with strings and flute and chimes. Just an idea.

EDIT 2: Or maybe By Design by Nobuo Uematsu? (The old 1.0 DotH crafting levequest theme). It's now used in ARR and beyond in a lot of cutscenes, and yes, often involving Tataru.

Incidentally more and more I'm thinking the track you have in mind is not a recent track but probably from 1.0, and many old 1.0 tracks have returned in ARR but not returned on the ARR OST albums which probably explains why you haven't found it yet - you have to look on the 1.0 OST album 'Before Meteor' specifically, which might be an idea for you to check out.

It's a 1.0 track by Nobuo Uematsu. If you can provide more examples of where it shows up we'll probably be able to identify it.

Maybe it's that one mystery-solving music I heard in Shadowbringers as well? Although that has a music box and a xylophone so probably not that one.
