"Sending and Receiving" appear to be spiking for no reason?

For the past couple of days, my client has been extremely laggy for whatever reason. Notably, whenever I'm rendering an area, my receiving will spike dramatically (Like it's shown in the above picture of me entering an INN).

My connection hasn't changed in the past few days and I made sure my computer was the only thing connected. I reset my modem/router to return to the same issue.

Any help or guidance would be very appreciated.

I'm in the same boat on this one. Usually I only have high latency when it's the weekend due to so many people being on, but over the week logging in everyday only to be met with lag? Is it possible that there have been more people on the servers lately? Or is it possible some setting with something needs to be changed?
