Inappropriate EN Localization Valentione Quest Text

Under normal circumstances event quest text doesn't really catch my attention, but in this case the following quest text in the EN localization was broadcasted on twitter by an account that aggregates FFXIV/RPG news, one often sponsored by SE itself besides, which I will link below:

I feel like I shouldn't have to point out how obviously on the nose these lines of dialogue were and that I struggle to understand why they made it into the game...when such text was often criticized as being too much when it came from the previous EN localization team. As was the case for several other notable examples from EW's msq text which led to differences in understanding the story, I feel like this was a step too far in terms "creativity."

I simply would like for there to be more consistency between the different languages, and perhaps less direct references to...the above.

I believe my post is reasonable enough, but I can confirm that you are indeed not my alt. As for my case I just feel like there have been too many translation issues lately and it's starting to annoy me.

Get over yourself. Its an event quest with dialogue that's pretty funny. Its not even remotely that big of a deal.

This game used to have a lot more raunchy humor. I guess they toned it down after the WoW players came over or something.
