Thank you all for the messages. I was very emotional when I wrote this post, but your messages have helped clear my thoughts. I am considering everyone's advice to start over and this time make sure I add my name. It will take a long time to gain back what I already invested, but luckily, my friends in game will make it worth it. You all have been way more helpful than the customer support team.

What do you expect from Support Center? They don't care because they already got your money. It's Square Enix not Se*a. They are really greedy company even you have an evidence. I am sure they don't care at all.

Been friends with Poyo and her partner since January last year when we met on Materia DC.

Square Enix support are incompetent when Poyo has provided them with LEGAL DOCUMENTATION (Marriage certificate and Photo ID's) and they still refuse to take action to resolve the issue.

This is just another sign of the times, we as the players mean NOTHING to Square Enix as a whole. This issue is as simple as 'Yes we have the paperwork, yes we can do this for you'. yet they refuse to even take a proper look.

Square Enix, This is pathetic and you can do better.

Pretty ridiculous reason to quit the game. Because you can't change the name on the account? Do you, I guess.

Sorry, I have to agree with a few people here....what is the problem, why do you need to change the name on the account?
If you are able to play the game all the same, what is the issue? What does SE supporting you have to do with being able to play the game, and how does this effect your experience? Reading your post, you have had no negative instances in or with the game...just that SE cant/wont change the name tied to the accounts creation from your Husband to Yours. So, this is a rather weird reason to quit the game....

It's to protect the integrity of the account. If any issues were to arise then your Husband would have to call instead of you to get anything fixed on the account but I find this to be an odd reason to quit the game.
