New Races

The one race I'd want playable are Gria, it's the only way I'd swap off Au Ra, for something more dragon-ey, but probably not what OP meant, as they are another "human with extra features" race.

Would love to have the beast tribes as playable races. I always wanted to make a Sahagin, Vath and Ixali character. Ooh! And also the Baanga, too!

lol I think we've had several threads about this topic.

I agree, I wish there were more diverse options...but it is what it is. And its been said that The Hrothgar and Viera will Possibly be the Last Races to be added, because of the large undertaking to create them in the 1st place, and with how the game is designed, they would need to fit TONS of gear; Past, Present and Future.
Id love to See Bangaa, Lupin, and Ivalice Moogles added to the game, but I think the chances are next to none.

If anything the next new playable race needs to be a tiny race so we have a smol option that isn't a potato.

Playable Loporrit I can actually think of a few ways to work it lore wise having one as the bunny of light from the start of ARR since the story experience pretends every other player character doesn't exist. Tweaking a few CS'es to add a reaction to the strange talking rabbit that can't remember it's past before the event that kicked off ARR and later in Endwalker getting chewed out for leaving the moon and losing your memory. I mean we run across one planning to leave the moon while we're up there and there's bits and pieces of lore indicating they've gotten to ethirys before. I honestly don't even care if they can't wear most headgear due to their ears and face shape. It would just mean they complete the size set started by Viera and Hrothgar lol.

They'd look like a variant of Hyur with some odd traits, and then they'd have a command that would change their appearance into something else. Or change appearances based on the time of day.
