    Anticheat doesn't go in and snoop around your computer. People have some strange ideas about what anticheat is
    Can't really give absolutes here, it depends on the implementation. I know some corporation that are very sleazy with what they do explicitly and some corporations that not only make the comparison on your data but store it (even if it's implicitly)...now this data is a security compromise to the user [depending on what data is stored].

    If the error they throw is by recursive means, meaning not direct, that means anything is fair game. If they get too direct, then it can't stand the test of time. I would not like an anti-cheat solely based on the reason if they do what other companies do (that is a heartbeat check), then anything can throw a false positive and you'll have yet another reason getting kicked from the game (outside of the common crash occurrences that may happen or faulty connections). And not to mention, these checks aren't free from performance loss, so it would be at the expense of the user.
