i think you need to take some me time or something you defending a company that is not paying you is extremely unhealthy for your physical and mental healthThere's no guessing, you people are defending cheating and attacking people for wanting fair play. Calling you a "bad person" isn't an attack or an insult. You say you don't care about other people's experiences, you are a bad person for saying that. It's not like it matters to you, you don't care after all.
for a year, would you rather be secretly filmed at random moments and have the footage uploaded to your social media or loose $100 when ever you said a curse word?
Ehhh. Not quite. There's a plugin that will auto load everything whenever you zone to a new area, including any race changes and etc. You could technically use it as a fantasia if so desired. Of course, nobody can see these changes. So it still wouldn't impact fantasia sells considering most people who would want to stay a different race for any extended period of time will just buy one.I think we can mostly all agree the people making profit off mods exist way outside of what would typically be deemed acceptable. The Fantasia business, however, is moot; barring certain conditions (i.e. some stupid mod people use to synchronize, which most people don't use) nobody but the person changing their character's appearance is even able to see it. What's more, it's temporary - you change areas, you change gear, or really do anything that involves not standing around in a house or Limsa's aetheryte plaza, and it's gone.
"Stand in the ashes of a trillion dead souls and ask the ghosts if honor matters."
"The silence is your answer."
waaaaaaaaaaah waaaaaaaaaaaaaah muh fair play let me snitch and call others bad people because muuuuuh fair playThere's no guessing, you people are defending cheating and attacking people for wanting fair play. you aint gonna get anything from square for defending the company that much i promise you, you dont have to do that
Don't worry about me. There's nothing unhealthy about speaking up about the values of integrity and fair play. You can concern troll all you want but it is what it is.
You just managed to sound like the stereotypical Lawful Stupid Paladin in classic fantasy RPGs.
I never thought I'd see a irl version of this stereotype.
Who is the chaotic good in this example? Me? There are two sides in this thread: those who break the rules to get ahead and flex their status in a video game under the guise of "it's just fun", and those who want the rules to be enforced because that's the game they signed up for and paid for.
So, who is good other than me and those defending the rules in this thread? Action is coming.
No you would not be chaotic good in this example. Here's a decent starting point if you want to learn more.Who is the chaotic good in this example? Me? Imagine willingly and knowingly filing fraudulent reports and then admitting to it on the forums. Incredible. No, I am going to ask if they are cheating, and report anyone who admits to it. If nobody admits to it, I will have to go to fflogs and see if I show up on any parses and mass report all 7 of the players. Then it is up to square enix to find out which one of those 7 are cheating. At least one of them is without a doubt. It's not my problem to police their game. It's theirs. It's not an invalid report, since I don't have any way of knowing who it was when they don't admit guilt when prompted. They do deserve to be reported if they ended up cheating despite me asking for them to either leave the party, or admit that they are cheating so I can leave if they won't. Either way, if I show up on a log it is proof that at least 1 of 7 people in the party were cheating.
Sounds like a personal problem with breaking rules and not opening up about it when you are asked about cheating by a peer.
It does affect me, I don't care that you don't care. The rules are what they are. Play the game for you, but don't break rules. Simple.
