This is already possible without the use of third-party tools or modifications to the game. There are a number of readily exploitable bugs in the housing system that were never fixed, this being but one.

Yeah there are possible to float, but not all of them lol. You can definitely tell which houses has had the plogon treatment vs not as well, btw. Doubly so outdoors, and triple so when you find the neighbor that placed outdoor items outside their home.

Depends on how you go about it. You can legit replicate pretty much everything people do, housing-wise, without resorting to third-party tools/modifications (graphical mods notwithstanding, of course) if you're very patient. Some of it is super hard to do, though. Which I suspect is why people are so willing to take the easy route.

Players using 200 Fantasia's in less then an hour for free instantly anywhere you want and selling commissioned and non-commissioned aesthetics mods for real life money. -> No Advantages, completely playing the game as intended. Sure lets go with that.

What's more, it's temporary - you change areas, you change gear, or really do anything that involves not standing around in a house or Limsa's aetheryte plaza, and it's gone.

Sounds like a lot of lies and hiding information about how bad the cheating problem is in this game. If you have to pay for cosmetics, and you are bypassing that by cheating, you are almost worse than the people using cactbot to clear normal raids. You cost square enix money, they are just coping with being "colorblind". Even though the game has adequate colorblind options in it. Even though it's okay to be limited in performance because of disabilities, these entitled western people don't really care as long as they get what they want. It's just a game right? Who cares how other people get their prestige right? Who cares about how the game world itself feels right? Mindless self indulgence is all you care about and it's pathetic. Ban all of you.

You could be grouped with somebody using a third-party tool at any time, and you would never be any the wiser unless they told you. It doesn't affect you. To put it bluntly, I don't care about your experience. I play the game for me. I raid for me. I'll go out of my way to make sure friends of mine have fun, and I'll put forth the effort to make any run with randoms as smooth as possible. What I won't do is concern myself with whether or not anyone I'm playing with at any given time is, as you would put it, "cheating." That's their business, not mine. It doesn't affect me at all.

No, I am going to ask if they are cheating, and report anyone who admits to it. If nobody admits to it, I will have to go to fflogs and see if I show up on any parses and mass report all 7 of the players. Then it is up to square enix to find out which one of those 7 are cheating. At least one of them is without a doubt. It's not my problem to police their game. It's theirs. It's not an invalid report, since I don't have any way of knowing who it was when they don't admit guilt when prompted. They do deserve to be reported if they ended up cheating despite me asking for them to either leave the party, or admit that they are cheating so I can leave if they won't. Either way, if I show up on a log it is proof that at least 1 of 7 people in the party were cheating.

Sounds like a personal problem with breaking rules and not opening up about it when you are asked about cheating by a peer.

It does affect me, I don't care that you don't care. The rules are what they are. Play the game for you, but don't break rules. Simple.

Paid cheats happen in every online game that is successful. It is illegal everywhere and square enix can legally attack anyone distributing the mods. Maybe yoshi-p says he is against stuff like ACT but actually uses it all after all. It's weird how deep the "dont ask dont tell" effect goes. This game is a joke. The people who play it are extremely dishonest and fake. It's all just a front you put on to avoid being actioned. When rules basically don't exist as long as you don't talk about breaking them, they might as well not exist at all.

This game sucks so bad and for all the wrong reasons, because it is a better game than anything else on the market if you were to exclude this issue from your judgment of it. It's to the point where I am inclined to log in for the remainder of my cancelled sub, ask people if they are modding in raid content, and report them over and over. If I show up on any parse, I will report all 7 people in the group. Then they will find out who actually parsed it and ban them.

There's no excuse for this. I paid money to play a game that has "strict" rules over addons, and now I learn that the rules are fake. What a joke. Shame on this playerbase.

Ehhh. Not quite. There's a plugin that will auto load everything whenever you zone to a new area, including any race changes and etc. You could technically use it as a fantasia if so desired. Of course, nobody can see these changes. So it still wouldn't impact fantasia sells considering most people who would want to stay a different race for any extended period of time will just buy one.
