If it takes you 3 months to analyze one single fight, and it doesn't interact with the FFXIV official game in any way shape or form, like providing you real time data, I'm more than happy with it, because if nothing else it's already new patch time and you clearly haven't cleared the fight...
Now if on the other hand, the Devs would update the game next maintenance with every single addon that exists, that would also be fine since it's now part of the official game, either way you are not breaking the rules.

You may not create or use any unauthorized cheats, bots, automation software, hacks, mods or any other unauthorized software or hardware designed to modify the Game and gameplay.

Read closely what that says. It's not just about modifying the game, it's also about modifying gameplay. And guess what, it wont take 3 months to analyze a fight. Someone is going to create some excel macro that can quickly read out the combat log (this isnt my assumption btw, that's yoship's). And guess what, discord is also a third party software that modifies gameplay.

anyone that thinks anticheat is a malware probably shouldn't speak on any subject matter. like ANY subject matter.

Many anti cheat programs are outright rootkits.

Some of these will continue to operate even once the associated application has been terminated. Some are confirmed to collect user data that isn't anywhere near relevant. A not insignificant portion of these are in fact full blown rootkits, and the sheer amount new kernel-level anti-cheat/anti-tamper software currently being developed should be very concerning to the gaming community as a whole.

Modern gaming consoles are far more like computers than anyone seems to want to acknowledge. They possess some of the same vulnerabilities, and they can very easily be used to harvest your data. They're not immune to attack via malicious code, either. The code simply needs to be a bit more specialized.

And it's already part of the system, and it works perfectly with no slowdowns, no crashes, no issues.
Yes eventually all consoles are jailbroken and unauthorized code can run on then, but for now the ps5 is still safe ( yes I do know some code can be run on them on lower firmwares, nothing that could be called a jailbreak yet, but since you need to be on the latest update of the firmware to connect to PSN, it's still safe).

No consoles, not even those that maintain fairly strict requirements to access their online functionality, remain unbroken for long. There has never been a firmware update on a console that someone didn't figure out how to break, barring of course those occasional instances where a firmware update is immediately followed by a corrective update to fix something they botched.

I have no doubt that it may already be jailbroken in closed groups or circles, the bits that are available to public at the moment do not represent any danger, like I said they are restricted to a lower firmware and you can't run unsigned code yet, not to the extent of modifying a game anyway.

But I could wake up tomorrow and it's completely jailbroken, I do doubt it would stay that way for very long, the cat and mousse game would start very quickly between the creators of the jailbreak and Sony, I digress as usual.
For now it's safe, works as intended and it only supports official software, the way all things should be.
