Until they fix this issue, they are not getting my sub money. Since I won't play the game without an anti-cheat, I think that makes my position pretty clear.

I get being passionate about things you want for the game, but he takes his black and white crusade against third party tools to such extremist lengths I wonder how you even get there. Listen to xeno talk about how cheating is just normal when you are playing to win. Listen to the way people are talking about cheating in this very thread. I want to play the game, I probably love FFXIV more than you and everyone else defending cheating in this game. You people "play to parse". If not for parsing, you'd be uninterested. Get a hobby. And WoW has had the Recount addon for nearly as long, which is basically just ACT. Does that make Recount cheating because it's similar to ACT, or is recount not cheating because an anti-cheat system does not punish it? By extension, do you or do you not consider parsing cheating? You're flashing back and forth between different ends of your black and white thinking so fast that your posts should be tagged with an epilepsy warning.

Again with the random strawman. When did I ever talk about how I play? I think the most I've ever said in this thread is that I think the numbers feedback provided by dps meters is at its most useful when you're learning. (and that being able to clear enrages doesn't mean you're not underperforming)

I for one would like to see it happen far too long folks cheating has enriched the cheaters at the cost of the other player's enjoyment, there is even a cheat for the personal island...the casual of casual content...goes to show the majority of people crying for it not to happen usually have something to hide...and the folks who dont cheat are waiting for it to happen...and no the game will not die if they do it the cheaters will leave and the real player base will be able to show how it's done. The only folks who are crying the game will die if an anticheat is put in are those who exploited the system for far too long and there day of reckoning is gonna happen. I for one will point, mock and laugh when that day happens...
