Would you be opposed to SE implementing a program to scan for addons/parsers?

You cant say just because they allow it in one game therefore its ok in another. That makes no sense.

I don't believe it's okay in WoW, but since it is not against ToS it is technically not cheating and I have to use it to stay relevant in that game. In this game it is different because staying "relevant" means breaking ToS, so that's a huge conflict of interest. But in WoW it's allowed, so there is no internal conflict.

This game is a joke, just like every other mmo that supports addons like this. They say one thing, but then do nothing about the issue. There is no grey area as far as I can tell. It's just all greenlit by company that must not really care about integrity.

SE has a million and one problems at a fundamental level, but this isn't even on the long list of things that they need to fix, both as a company and with this game.

Cleared P1S and P2S with no savage experience as a group leader in PF when they were prog content. Not sure what you know about other than being dependent on addons since you're out here defending them and attacking those who defend the ToS.

Isn't red mage the easiest class in game? You use addons, play the easiest class, and attack people who cleared content for a few weeks. Never cared to get it on farm status, never cared to parse, never cared about anything other than clearing it.

Shows dps and damage percentile in real time. It works exactly like recount only with different ui and maybe less features. It's hard to say because I don't break ToS and am unfamiliar with cheats. I can see from a simple screenshot that it is functionally the exact same as recount or details though: a real time performance metric.

If you really believe that having real time access to your performance won't influence your gameplay in a positive way, you're just out of touch and clearly coping with using a performance enhancer. "I still have to press the buttons", yeah, and you're doing it with external assists telling you exactly how proficient you are doing real time. If you didn't have these assists, you would have to just base your performance on your own natural ability and nothing else. Everyone who has used a real time damage meter knows that the real time feedback makes your performance way tighter. Then there is the toxic comparisons we make against other players while we're on top. It's just not good for the game, and it's not in line with the fundamental values of fair play.

Again, you have no idea how ACT works and now you're resorting to strawman arguments because I called you out on this. The numbers on ACT aren't what tell you stuff, it's when you upload it to FFLogs, ESPECIALLY if you're a job like dancer, because there are two different types of DPS in this game.
