You aren't even past Stormblood. Sit down and be quietI play all types of games and 99 percent of online multiplayer games with a competitive aspect use anti cheat software. The toxicity on this forum knows no bounds. If you have a wooden pc that is on you, all my games run just fine.
Allowing cheaters to have free reign with a near zero chance of getting caught is not healthy for any game do some research pls before posting about things you have no clue about.
With that attitude towards anti cheat it's apparent you are cheating in this game currently.
This is one of the most disingenuous points anyone could ever make. You can not physically do your rotation, and calculate the numbers flying on your screen with your calculator at the same time. You could not do this real time. It doesn't matter who you are. Stop making this cringe post over and over. ACT makes it realtime, ACT makes it automated, ACT makes it possible. Nobody in the world can do what you are suggesting. You can't do what you say you could "if you really wanted to". What a delusional remark that keeps being parrotted over and over for some insanely inappropriate reason.I don't see using ACT as cheating. It takes the battle log that is already available to us and gives us a more readable version of it. If I really wanted to, I could sit down go through the battle log with my calculator and figure out your dps for a fight. That information is already in my battle log, ACT just makes it easier to read.
"ACT just makes it easier to read" lol. Cope with being a cheater.
Oh I get it, its called ACT because you can still "act" in combat while you're calculating numbers! This is one of the most disingenuous points anyone could ever make. Just add another one to the list of derps who say "you said something to disagree with me therefore you're defending mods and must be a cheater yourself". They're really coming out of the woodwork lately. With that attitude towards anti cheat it's apparent you are cheating in this game currentl- wait let me read this line one more time. "With that attitude towards anti cheat it's apparent YOU ARE CHEATING INTHISGAMECURRENTLY!?
Oh boy! this is wholefully rich! I didnt expect to actually be impressed by the level of durr I've witnessed today
Of course you can't do it during a fight. No where did I say that. I am talking about after the fight. Which is where ACT comes into play. Most people don't pay attention to ACT during the fight because you cant really do much during the fight to fix issues, you can look at your dps number during the fight but it is meaningless in the moment because you can't just press a button and fix it. Its after the fight, when you are looking through the logs to break down the fight, which is what I was talking about. People who don't use it seem to think we stare at the program during the fight which isn't the case its a turn it on and forget about it till after the fight thing. You may glance at it from time to time but for the most part it just sits there going unnoticed till you wipe and or beat the fight and can look at it.This is one of the most disingenuous points anyone could ever make. Who said anything about doing it at the same time? You could just copy the battlelog after the fight is over. This is one of the most disingenuous points anyone could ever make. I play WoW and use damage meters where it's not against ToS. You can't pretend this argument is valid with someone who knows better. Try again.Of course you can't do it during a fight. You actually can make that argument because ACT doesn't work like Recount. Maybe learn how it works before crying about it. The amount of people talking about mods in these threads while having no idea how any of them work is freaking wild.
Shows dps and damage percentile in real time. It works exactly like recount only with different ui and maybe less features. It's hard to say because I don't break ToS and am unfamiliar with cheats. I can see from a simple screenshot that it is functionally the exact same as recount or details though: a real time performance metric.
If you really believe that having real time access to your performance won't influence your gameplay in a positive way, you're just out of touch and clearly coping with using a performance enhancer. "I still have to press the buttons", yeah, and you're doing it with external assists telling you exactly how proficient you are doing real time. If you didn't have these assists, you would have to just base your performance on your own natural ability and nothing else. Everyone who has used a real time damage meter knows that the real time feedback makes your performance way tighter. Then there is the toxic comparisons we make against other players while we're on top. It's just not good for the game, and it's not in line with the fundamental values of fair play.
This game is a joke, just like every other mmo that supports addons like this. They say one thing, but then do nothing about the issue. There is no grey area as far as I can tell. It's just all greenlit by company that must not really care about integrity.
