Would you be opposed to SE implementing a program to scan for addons/parsers?

I think the majority of raiders use ACT when they are raiding. It’s common sense. You want to git gud, you need someone who’s telling you what are you doing wrong. ACT/Logs and XIV analysis do this. Even if you don’t care about your or other dps you need ACT or someone else using ACT. And this is the starting ground for being a raider. . You are wasting your and others time otherwise.

If SE will implement an Anticheat I think they will loose the majority of raiders.
Imho, once you have learned the fight you just don’t care about the gear…since it would be obsolete before the next tier.
Imho a raider cares more parsing on an unofficial scoreboard. That’s why a raider needs the gear.
So, why raiding if you can’t parse more due the anti cheat?
A raider could do a full tier clear once for the “fun”…and then? I bet EU servers will be devastated. It’s hard to raids now in the first two days form reset…

I’d like to see an anti cheat, a sort of thing that can prevent the abuse of any kind of system that can be used to harrass people and to prevent the disrupting of anyone gameplay…and I think the only thing left vanilla in my game is the font.
But If this should come at the cost of all third party tools which enchants one’s game experience, may it be a QoL or a Gear mod, or a VFX mod/animation/custom pose/gshade/face mod/texture pack, may it be SFW or not
I’d against it.
Plug-ins do what the game can’t and in certain way they help the game to be improved.

Isn't it weird that cheating and breaking tos is so normalized in this community that you openly admit to breaking the ToS on the official forums?

It's like an "everyone does it" mentality and it's really weird. Not everyone does it. Tons of us enjoy the game for what it is. We don't need players like you belittling the experience by saying it's only worthwhile if you have numbers to chase.
