It's also about the stance SE taking right now allows raiders to use tools to evaluate their performance as long as they are discreet while also allowing SE to take action against their use in content where performance is not as important.
Well, people have been explaining why they do so ever since I replied to you initially. You seemed to have skipped over those o: It doesn't seem to be "unimportant", there is a reason for it.

I recommend reading the previous page, so you listen directly from people who raid. They know their practices the best, so if anyone can tell you what happens vs what doesn't, it's them. No need to live in the fear of a possibility that likely won't happen.

Either way, those logs in non-raiding content will not be used against you. No one looks at those.
And even raiders who do look at raiding parses to welcome people do so in specific circumstances, namely when they're forming a group to do more than clear/farm a content. They'll check if your parses are good because their purpose is to get high parses, and that tends to be explicitly stated in PF. Otherwise, even hardcore raiders who do stuff in PF with randoms know they shouldn't expect excellence.

And any one who uses your parses against you so overtly is just risking a ban. At that point it's not a case of raider/casual, parser/non-parser. It's a case of extreme idiocy of their part xD
