I play WoW and use damage meters where it's not against ToS. You can't pretend this argument is valid with someone who knows better. Try again.Of course you can't do it during a fight. No where did I say that. I am talking about after the fight. Which is where ACT comes into play. Most people don't pay attention to ACT during the fight because you cant really do much during the fight to fix issues, you can look at your dps number during the fight but it is meaningless in the moment because you can't just press a button and fix it. Its after the fight, when you are looking through the logs to break down the fight, which is what I was talking about. People who don't use it seem to think we stare at the program during the fight which isn't the case its a turn it on and forget about it till after the fight thing. You may glance at it from time to time but for the most part it just sits there going unnoticed till you wipe and or beat the fight and can look at it.
You actually can make that argument because ACT doesn't work like Recount. Maybe learn how it works before crying about it. The amount of people talking about mods in these threads while having no idea how any of them work is freaking wild.

Who said anything about doing it at the same time? You could just copy the battlelog after the fight is over. This is one of the most disingenuous points anyone could ever make. You can not physically do your rotation, and calculate the numbers flying on your screen with your calculator at the same time. You could not do this real time. It doesn't matter who you are. Stop making this cringe post over and over. ACT makes it realtime, ACT makes it automated, ACT makes it possible. Nobody in the world can do what you are suggesting. You can't do what you say you could "if you really wanted to". What a delusional remark that keeps being parrotted over and over for some insanely inappropriate reason.
"ACT just makes it easier to read" lol. Cope with being a cheater.

And in doing so defeat the entire purpose of having higher difficulty content, thus giving those players little reason to continue playing. The reason ACT and FFlogs have been around for nearly a decade with SE doing precisely nothing to enforce the ToS against either one is because they directly benefit from their existence. All of that is forbidden and banned, unless it's put on the official game, if people are not able to improve without those tools and only 100 people in the world clear the current difficulty the Devs will lower it to the level where you dont need third party tools to improve and clear, have you even thought about that?
The difficulty keeps improving because people keep cheating to clear, if noone or only a very small percentage of the community clears , they will adjust it...
So stop cheating.
