At least I am respecting Yoshidas wishes/pleas while you modders do not. Follow the set rules and we can have together on an even playingfield. Would you find it fun being playing a sport or game against others if people use hack and cheats to win over you? I dont find that fun following the rules and being demolished by cheaters. Oh yes, letting hrothgar and viera wear hats is a detriment to the game. Giving people extra accessibility options (for things such as colorblindness) is a detriment to the game. Letting people fix ping issues is a detriment to the game. Or, I don't know, my race using mods to be able to use glamour options that you can use just because the devs decided they wouldn't make them for us?

I won't say modding is the future of gaming. And it's true that we shouldn't have mods if the game is done well. But unfortunately, this isn't a well-done game if people have to resort to them to be on the same level as everyone else. And it's stuff like this, takes like these, that I find narrow-minded. Like dropping a nuke to solve a tiny problem. "There won't be a problem if there's no topic about it at all", right?

Well what SE CAN DO is you prevent the outlet of data and keep it classified behind locked doors and if people somehow breaks into the server.. their account will be instant flagged.

Don't let any information go out of the game to the PC other than visuals - delete the combat log for personal use meaning no data is going to be stored on your system.

The problem is... the argument that "players that are against a third-party checker have something to hide" is not a valid argument. It goes under the presumption that some other company should be allowed to see what's on our devices.

I don't invite police into my house daily to check that I'm not cooking meth. Nor should we invite SE into our computer.
