Any hopes it is bad enough there things will change?
Cause eventually a dev will run into an angry player in the wild. And oh boy.

Actually there are empty wards over on the JP servers; there have always seemingly been houses available. Hell even the EU Light Raiden server had prime mist spots just sitting there.
We're being comfy so far
Last round we have some free Large Mist with 80 ish bidders
Probably about the same as EU. Multiple empty plots on almost every ward.
We don't all try to crowd into one single RP server here.
Well, that and JP servers average about 55-60% of the population of NA servers. Across the entire board. And this has consistently been the case for years. And that still neglects to account for some regional disparity in playstyle and play pattern that amplifies the effects even further.
I'll avoid ranting about how the current load balancing failures were predictable *way* before COVID, but I'm certainly thinking it real hard.
Well people want those ERP servers so badly and to be on them instead of spreading out to other servers.... in many ways it is kind of pathetic in the NA/EU
People are spread out all over on NA
Does no one stop to notice that even the lowest pop of the 24 NA worlds prior to Dynamis opening has a higher population than any of the EU or JP worlds?
NA is crowded because SE didn't give us new worlds sooner. It was a problem even before the massive influx of new player in 2019 and 2021. The 4 worlds they've added is nice but not nearly enough.
To get the average NA world population down to JP population levels, NA would need a total of 44 worlds. We've only got 28 with another 4 coming later this year.
It's got nothing to do with people wanting to be on "ERP" servers and everything to do with not having enough NA worlds for NA players.
I can't really say there's not enough NA worlds for NA players when Dynamis is still practically deserted and NA players refuse to move over.People are spread out all over on NA

The two are not mutually exclusive issues. Fundamentally, people tend to want to be where other people are. When you add servers several years into a game, you have a lot of inertia to overcome in the form of non-transferable assets, established friend groups, and server culture attachments. You generally have to force people into it by either splitting servers, shuffling server groups, or manufacturing scenarios that leave people no choice but to populate them - the latter is pretty clearly what they're doing by marking all of Crystal as Congested, and is part of why I think that status might well remain in place until 7.0.
