    I don't understand this ability at all. I can see this being used maybe once in 1000 casts. This also might be an EXTREMELY situational move where the boss casts an AoE mega move (Hellfire) in which the mages (both healers and nukers) could avoid by stepping out of the AoE range and continue nuking/healing for ONE measly spell. I just don't see this being a valid spell/ability at all.

    It is possible that the "range" may refer to using something like THM ABL 2 (Increased range) + CNJ ABL 1 (AoE Enhancing Magic) + CNJ MAG 3 (Regen). This might increase the overall radius of the ability, but I still feel that "range" is referring to how far your can be from casting, not the actual AoE radius of the spell. Thus, still ability would still be useless in the present state.

    As of right now I do feel this is a wasted slot for something that could be significantly better, such as a raw debuff or buff such as haste/slow/paralyze.

    I strongly encourage reworking this ability or replacing it with something that won't be neglected since we are limited to such few spells/abilities now.

    Seconded. That spell is complete trash. Never used it on conjurer.

    Just a suggestion but it could be used for CC, how often do THM's , CNJ's and soon to be WHM's & BLM's cast sleep/aoe sleep... as often i use this spell i do find that quite often the odd mob here or there does tend to be just outside of range when doing a large aoe sleep.

    Depending on the recast time of the ability it might be useful for soloing/kiting with your new Bind/gravity effects from the ice spells. Depends on how reliable those are.

    Yeah the first thing I've thought when I read that ability description was 'who the hell uses that anyways for them to put it there again?'. Totally crap.
    Just put a 'boost magic damage for next spell' or something.

    I use it to relocate mobs by pulling at extended range and dragging them somewhere.

    Could be useful if they eventually put in a "Tractor" spell for pulling someone's dead body deep in a crowd of aggro mobs.
