Script error

Hi,
my computer blue screened as I was opening the game and the launcher has been broken since, telling me an error has been happening in the script due to a incorrect character.

I've looked at similar issues and unintalling/reinstalling does not work and Internet Explorer does not exist on this computer. I therefore have no way of fixing this. Any other idea?

EDIT: I seem to have found a solution right after I wrote this (of course).
